The Getty Museum launched OMMM, a twice-weekly video podcast pairing guided meditation with art from its permanent collection

OMMM (Our Museum Mindfulness Meditation) is Getty's first video podcast, focused on creating mindful interactions with artworks from its permanent collection. The first season includes 12 meditation episodes on individual artworks plus 12 bonus deep-dives spanning art, astrology, sleep science, and Buddhist practice. Host Lilit Sadoyan, who leads Getty's research into mindfulness in museums and has worked with scientists and contemplative practitioners studying art's effect on body and mind, said OMMM is meant to be "a space for audiences to heal, learn and be empowered to embrace mindfulness in their daily lives." For Spirit Tech: museums, gardens, and other tourist attractions could become access points to presence with a little digital contemplative scaffolding. Who will build this for institutions?

SoundSelf permanently delisted from Steam and the Oculus Store on June 17, completing the consumer-to-clinical pivot we covered two weeks ago

Developer Andromeda Entertainment confirmed the removal, closing the consumer chapter for SoundSelf, a technodelic experience using voice and synchronized light to guide users into altered states without substances. The product previously sold at around $10 on Steam now ships only as a $7,000 clinical bundle, used in mental health and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy practices. Existing Steam owners retain library access but receive no further updates. What's left to watch is whether the clinical channel sustains those unit economics, a question the broader consumer hardware category in Spirit Tech will be following too.
