Light-based sleep mask that uses audiovisual brainwave entrainment for recovery
ThetaMask is a neurotechnology company building a light-based sleep mask paired with a companion app that delivers audiovisual brainwave entrainment, guiding the brain toward slower theta and alpha rhythms for stress recovery and relaxation. The hardware, firmware and app are developed in-house by a three-person founding team and tested with academic partners including the Donders Institute at Radboud University.
The product is pre-beta, not yet for sale, and the team are working with research and institutional partners on studies and pilots.
It's positioned as a non-medical device for high-pressure work recovery, sleep onset and meditation-like states.
