A biological computing platform connecting living neurons with modern AI to improve foundation models.
The Biological Computing Co. (TBC) develops a biological computing platform that connects living neurons with modern AI to make foundation models more stable, scalable, and efficient. Founded by neurosurgeons Alex Ksendzovsky and Jon Pomeraniec, TBC offers Biological Adapters for computer vision and generative video, and an Algorithm Discovery Platform that uses biologically derived principles to explore post-transformer architectures. The company raised a $25M seed round led by Primary Venture Partners and operates labs in Baltimore and San Francisco.
