Moonbird is a Belgian health tech company that creates handheld breathing devices designed to help people manage stress, improve sleep, and reduce anxiety. Founded in 2019 by siblings Stefanie Broes (PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences) and Michael Broes, the company combines a tactile palm-sized device with a digital coaching app to guide breathing exercises. Moonbird raised €1.5M in seed funding led by AKILES and Scale Fund in 2021.
