Emotiv puts EEG apps in the browser, backed by a "Large Brain Model"
Emotiv has launched emotiv.dev, a set of seven browser-based applications that run on its EEG headsets with no install step. They include Mind Weather, which "shows a sky that shifts with the wearer's engagement, alongside Emotiv's estimates of attention and stress", and Alpha Mirror, which "shows the alpha rhythm, a brainwave that strengthens when the eyes close". Behind them sits EmotivIQ, a cloud analysis service the company says is powered by "Emotiv's Large Brain Model and other machine-learning models trained on large-scale EEG datasets", citing 197.5 million channel-minutes of recorded brain activity.
