Nonprofit funding scientific and clinical research into emergent phenomena: spiritual, mystical, psychedelic and energetic experiences
Emergence Benefactors is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that funds and runs scientific research into emergent phenomena, the experiences commonly labelled spiritual, mystical, psychedelic, energetic or psi.
Its aim is ontologically agnostic clinical knowledge that reaches mainstream medical, therapeutic and public health practice, so people undergoing these experiences meet informed care rather than misdiagnosis.
It supports the research roadmap of the Emergent Phenomenology Research Consortium (EPRC) through a grant program, incubation services and projects it runs directly.
Its Board Chair and acting CEO is Dr. Daniel M. Ingram who also founded the EPRC.
