Dream Engineering Lab is a research laboratory that combines neuroscience, psychology, and technology to study dreams and their functions. The lab employs state-of-the-art methods including high-density EEG, serial awakening protocols, virtual reality, sensory stimulation, and natural language processing to measure, decode, and manipulate dreams. Their research focuses on three main areas: the relationship between dreams and mental health (including PTSD and psychosis), lucid dreaming induction and benefits, and understanding how dreams incorporate and process memories and learning. The lab also develops community tools using text mining and AI to analyze large datasets of dream reports from both laboratory and home settings.
