Center for Healthy Minds is a research center at the University of Wisconsin–Madison studying the science of wellbeing and flourishing, bridging psychology, neuroscience, psychiatry, education and other disciplines. Founded in 2009 by neuroscientist Dr. Richard J. Davidson, it is known for foundational research on the neuroscience of wellbeing and the impact of contemplative practices like meditation on the brain. The Center collaborates closely with the affiliated non-profit Humin (formerly Healthy Minds Innovations), launched in 2014, which translates its research into tools such as the Healthy Minds Program app, used by over a million people worldwide.
